On Gran Canaria, in Berlin, Vienna, Paris and Amsterdam you will meet again kinky boys who are into sneakers and sportswear. From November, Italy's second largest city, Milan, will definitely be back on your roadmap. Founder Oreste and his team are organizing the 23rd edition of the "International Sneaker & Foot weekend" from November 5th to 7th. We have often been to these events not only because of the short journey for us from Switzerland. In the "Hot Dog" club, boys from all over the world meet (16 nations are already listed for this edition) to celebrate and let off steam. Don't expect a classic club like you know it from Zurich or Berlin, for example. The building houses a sauna club (closed during the party) and, in addition to cloakrooms, has a smaller bar in the entrance area. Here you can arrive, have a drink and socialize. The heart of the party is on the upper floor. In our opinion, there is a very large cruising area here. It's a huge, darkened maze with cabins and play areas. There is a lot of action here all night long and most guys only come down to the little bar for a short break.
Anyone who likes boys between 20 and 50 in sportswear and hot sneakers will love the audience. The fun takes place on both Friday and Saturday evenings. We treat ourselves to both evenings and cannot say whether one of the two events is more popular.
Oreste is the organizer with body and soul. You can contact him in advance at any time via Planetromeo or by email. He really likes to help. You need a so-called Arcos card to enter the club. You can do this registration directly at the entrance. However, this takes some time and we recommend that you request the card from Oreste in advance. During the day, he can submit the data (ID is required) to the club, which makes the admission procedure much faster. There is an official hotel. Oreste is in one room each time, so it is very easy to organize everything in advance. The cost of the Arcos OneClub card is 10 euros. Speaking of the hotel: the hotel is located on the outskirts and is not within walking distance of the party. An official shuttle is available. However, the waiting time is always relatively long because many want to go to the party from the hotel at the same time. If you're traveling in groups, grab a taxi or use public transport. For those returning after the party, the shuttle is a very good option. Waiting in front of the club, the minibus drives its rounds all night.
Milan is a colorful, interesting city and of course, if you love high fashion, this is the place for you. During the day it is worth taking the metro to the city center. There are an incredible number of delicious restaurants. Our highlight is always the aperitivo. No, this is not a drink but a way the Milanese celebrate the early evening. In many restaurants there is a buffet with many delicacies from 6 pm to 7 pm where you can help yourself. Usually the first drink is a bit more expensive or you pay a small fee for the buffet, but it's definitely worth it. We won't even go to dinner afterwards.
