This article was written on the train that brought us back to Switzerland after an excellent evening at Underground in Munich . As we regularly travel to the capital of Bavaria and are really enthusiastic, we introduce you to this club.
Bar or club?
Cruisingbar is the term that best describes UG. There is a bar area for socializing. The largest area is for getting horny and consists of shipping containers in and around which you can romp on two floors. There are more open corners, but also very dark areas. You will also find a lot of equipment adapted to different fetishes. We like to walk around, watch the boys have sex and, of course, let ourselves go. There is an exciting atmosphere that always makes us horny. A container has also been fitted out in a brilliant way for those who love wet play. But don't worry, there are also normal toilets. On the UG website you will find some impressions that will allow you to get a better idea. During our evenings, between 50 and 300 boys were present. You will meet whole young kinksters, but also older gays. We think the mix is very good.
For who?
All boys who want to live their fetish and sexual impulse and who like to meet new people feel at ease at the Underground. It doesn't matter if you like sportswear, workwear or leather: there is a party suitable for almost every fetish. It doesn't matter if you are a regular party animal or a beginner who just wants to try something new. Because the place is managed by an association, everything is very personal. You don't have to worry about your first visit either. We've also heard the bias that UG is only for really classic fetish types. We do not think so. You don't have to be super trendy to have fun at the Underground. Dress codes for events are checked after the cloakroom (what we understand ) and are also fully explained on the website. But that shouldn't put you off, it ensures that after an hour not everyone is just running around topless with a harness like at many other gay parties.
Where is the Underground?
The location is at Machtlfinger Strasse underground station in Munich. It's not right in the center, but you can get there very easily by public transport. In the immediate vicinity there are two hotels, the Achat and the Holiday Inn, where you can stay inexpensively. Those arriving by car will find enough parking spaces in the streets around the Underground. The entrance is very discreetly offset from the street. A sign at the end of the path marks the entrance.
Who exploits the space?
Behind the subway is the Munich Löwen Club e.V. According to its website, the MLC has around 600 members, making it one of the biggest fetish clubs in Europe. The board is extremely committed, organizes a very varied annual program and is committed to the community. Because the underground as a club should not be run purely economically, the entrance and drink prices are extremely fair.
Organizational
At the entrance, each guest receives a smart bracelet like those used in public swimming pools and a key for a locker. Admission and all bar drinks are booked on the wristband and you pay for it all together when you leave the event. At the bar counter you can always see what you have already booked on the wristband on the screens, so you always have your expenses under control. You can pay cash or card at the end. Immediately after entering, a staircase leads you to the changing rooms. Here you can still change if you don't want to get into the fetish paraphernalia. You can give the key to the locker to the bartender. It stores it safely and you can retrieve the key at any time as the locker key number is noted digitally on your wristband. So everything is well organized and very comfortable. You don't have to worry about anything and your cell phone or wallet in your pocket won't bother you when you're having fun.
